Stephen John Huysman

Biography
As a botanist and plant ecologist, I specialize in applying ecological modeling, botanical surveying, and geospatial software development to inform land management strategies. I also have an extensive background in tropical plant cultivation, from designing growing systems to pest management.
I recently received my Master's degree in Biological Sciences from Montana State University, where my research focused on mapping ideal locations for whitebark pine (Pinus albicaulis Engelm.) restoration. I now apply and expand on this research with the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative (NRCC) in partnership with the National Park Service, building predictive models and tools to address ecological challenges.
